Overview

Dexed is a free, open-source FM synthesizer plugin modeled on the Yamaha DX7, recreating its six-operator FM engine. It also works as a patch editor and SysEx librarian for DX7-compatible hardware.

It is aimed at producers and synth enthusiasts who want classic FM tones, and runs on Windows, macOS, and Linux in VST, VST3, AU, and LV2 formats.
