Overview

soothe2 is a dynamic resonance suppressor from oeksound that detects and reduces problematic resonances across the full frequency spectrum in real time, without manual EQ notching. The reduction only acts where and when a resonance is present, leaving surrounding frequencies untouched.

It is aimed at mixing and mastering engineers working on vocals, drums, guitars, strings, and full mixes, and is available for macOS and Windows.

  • Automatic dynamic suppression of resonances across 20 Hz to 20 kHz
  • Mid/Side and Left/Right processing
  • External sidechain input for spectral ducking
  • Delta monitoring to audition the removed content
  • Scalable quality and resolution modes plus optional oversampling
