Fret Days

Fret Days

Browser-based practice tracker for guitar and bass that counts your minutes while the metronome, drums or looper are running.

Overview

Fret Days is a practice tracker for guitar and bass that runs in the browser. It doesn't include lessons or courses. You bring a song you already want to play, and it gives you the tools to work on it and keeps the record.

You add the song, split it into parts and name them yourself, then mark each part when you can play it. The tools are a metronome, drum patterns, a looper that slows audio down without changing the pitch, a speed trainer, chord practice and a YouTube play-along mode, so you aren't switching between separate apps. Each tool runs its own timer, and any session of a minute or more is added to your practice log automatically. Audio you load into the looper stays on your device and is never uploaded.

There are no streaks, badges or notifications, so nothing is lost if you take a few weeks off.

The free plan doesn't ask for a card. It includes the metronome, YouTube video playback, two drum patterns, up to 20 songs and the last 90 days of history; the looper and the remaining drum patterns run as a 30-second trial once a day. PRO is US$4.99 a month and lifts those limits, adding recording memos, per-song reports and full history.
