Overview
Blackhole is a reverb plugin from Eventide, derived from a preset originally found in the Eventide DSP4000 hardware multi-effects unit. It produces large, ambient reverb tails ranging from natural spaces to extreme, otherworldly soundscapes.
It is used by producers, composers, sound designers, and audio engineers for creative and atmospheric reverb. It is available across macOS, Windows, and iOS.
- Controls for decay time, size, pre-delay, feedback, resonance, and shelving filters
- Freeze function sets reverb time to infinite while muting the input
- Kill switch mutes the input to allow reverb-only fade-outs
