Ardour is a professional, open-source digital audio workstation for multitrack recording, editing and mixing of audio and MIDI. It is community-driven and offered as a free download with optional paid support of the project.
It is aimed at musicians, composers, audio engineers and producers across studio recording, live sessions, sound design, film scoring and podcasting. It runs on Linux, macOS, Windows and FreeBSD.
