Ableton Live

Ableton Live is a digital audio workstation (DAW) for music creation, recording, and live performance. It pairs a non-linear Session View grid for improvisation with a traditional timeline Arrangement View.

It runs on macOS and Windows and is popular with electronic producers and performers. It is offered in Intro, Standard, and Suite editions that share the same core engine but differ in track counts, instruments, effects, and access to Max for Live.
